Privacy Policy

Positions ("we", "our", or "the app") is a desk habits and movement tracking application. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: If you sign in, we store your email and a user identifier (via Supabase Auth). We may store a display name you provide.
- App data: Habits, exercise completions, reminders, and preferences are stored on your device (mobile) or in your browser (web). If you sign in, this data may be associated with your account and, where we offer sync, stored in our backend (Supabase).
- Subscription data: If you subscribe to Pro, we use Stripe for payment. We store a subscription tier and Stripe customer ID in our database (Supabase) to enable Pro features. We do not store your full payment card details.
- Notifications: On mobile we use Expo push notifications for reminders. This requires a device token and notification preferences; we use these only to send the reminders you configure.
2. How we use data
We use your data to provide the app (tracking habits, reminders, analytics for Pro users), to manage your account and subscription, and to improve the product. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Third-party services
- Supabase: Authentication and (where used) database storage. See Supabase's privacy policy for their practices.
- Stripe: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions. See Stripe's privacy policy for their practices.
- Expo (mobile): App build and push notification delivery. See Expo's privacy policy for their practices.
- Vercel / hosting: Our web app may be hosted on Vercel or similar; standard request logs may apply.
4. Data retention
We retain account and subscription data for as long as your account exists. You may delete your account at any time (see below); after deletion we remove your auth account and, where applicable, profile data.
5. Your rights and choices
- Access: You can view and manage your data inside the app (habits, completions, settings).
- Account deletion: You may permanently delete your account from Settings (mobile) or the account menu (web). This removes your auth identity and associated profile/subscription records. Local device data may remain until you clear app data or uninstall.
- Notifications: You can disable reminders in app settings or in your device settings.
